Hold up I think I may not be running a genuine 3.00 but rather one you issued to me with a bent license? Same problem trying again btw.

I few things could be happening here. First of all, if the time frame was very short, then it may be that the logos were never removed from the guide to begin with- once they are injected into the guide, they stay in the guide database and not in MCL.

Another thing is that there is an automated task that autopopulates once a week, and it could have re-autopopulated. I thought that this would disappear once the program is uninstalled, but perhaps it didn't happen in this case.

I have reinstalled MCL and it upgraded tp the most recent version with no problem. Since then the guide has developed a number of duplicate channels. If I select any of the duplicates and arrow left to try to delete the extra entries from the guide my Echo immediately logs off and I have to reboot. I have tried to delete the dups directly on the HTPC and WMC locks up although the dup does disappear from the guide but I have to reboot the HTPC to get WMC working again.

Don't know if this has anything to do with MCL since I have found some really old posts that complain about this issue with WMC, but I figured I ask here first.

Should I delete the database and start over? Will I lose all of my scheduled recordings or anything else if I do this

This shouldn't have anything to do with MCL...MCL doesn't really add channels to the guide. It just adds logos to existing channels. Hmmm. I'd recommend deleting the database if I were you. I'm not sure if it will delete your recordings. You may want to ask that as a separate topic for that answer.

Just finished upgrading to MCL XL on my Win7 x64 HTPC. Very nice update, great job! The 3-hour grid is easier to read than I expected, and the big logo support is fantastic (WAF is good too). Thanks very much for this.

I'll work on it. Got somewhat of a backlog right now. FYI, there is no official FXX HD logo- just FXX. The logo should exist in the package, so you could add it manually.

I recently installed MCLXL on my MCPC, and now my Xbox keeps getting disconnected from the MCPC. When I check the connection to MC from the Xbox, it says that it can connect, but when I try I get the error. I tried uninstalling and doing a system restore. The system restore seemed to fix the issue at first, but the logos were still there even though the program was uninstalled. The next day, I got the same error again. When this happens, I look at the MCPC, and it shows that there is an error with the extender. I uninstall the media extender and do the system restore and re-add the media extender. I have it working now, but I'm not sure what did the trick...Any help would be appreciated. I have a feeling this might happen again.

Now UK users can enjoy the full potential of MCL XL- I've just finished uploading a set of BIG logos for all of the UK Freeview Channels (and most of the radio stations).

Completely forgot to check back and so missed that these were now available. Anyway got it now and loving the big logos.

Six new Freeview HD channels were launched in December and so I have made logos for them. The attached includes white, colour and big logos for:

Al Jazeera HD
BBC Four HD
BBC News HD
BBC Three HD
CBBC HD
CBeebies HD

I have also included logos for Film4+1 and alternative colour logos for STV and STV HD.

I just installed this yesterday on my new HTPC. It looks really nice. I like your user interface for assigning logos for channels that were not auto-detected.

On that subject, there were a LOT of channels that I had to manually assign. It took me several hours to do it. Do you have a way to collect data from my system in order to help you improve your matching logic?

Ah, I found the "help us improve" thing on the settings tab. I sent you the logs, but they show what everything looks like after I had already assigned logos for 82 channels that weren't automatically matched. I sent you the 82 "custom" logos too, but they were all from the Big and Color directories that were downloaded with your program... so they're really not "custom".

Anyway, I still have 71 more channels without logos. I'd appreciate some help on those. They are:

The STV logos were a little dark so I have redone them in a lighter blue.
