What happens when you drag all three of the shows in your log above into Comskip separately?
Perhaps one of those shows is protected.

I see that error for each of the 302 shows in the watched folder.
I dropped 4 different shows on the Comskip.exe previously and they all scanned and commercial skip on those 4 worked well, no errors.

I know it's hard to understand why someone has this issue when you don't see it on your own htpc.
I've restored previous Ghost image twice and started clean.
Each of the 3 times I've seen this error and have these results.
I won't have time for more testing until Friday.

Thanks for your help!

Is E: a local drive?
I wonder if it is permissions/share problem.

Yes it is a local drive.
That thought also entered my mind but I don't know why the permissions would be incorrect.
Everything else works perfectly.
That drive is shared so I can access and move things around if need be, and no issues there.

Sorry, I can only report what works properly since I don't know what's wrong.
Friday, I'll unshare the drive and see if that corrects the issue.

Again, thank you for your help and suggestions.

Still no luck.
Restored back prior to install.
I've since added an Esata external drive that I've had in the closet.
I added it to Media Centers TV Recordings watched library.
Moved about 100 HD shows to it from the 2 TB Recorded TV drive.
Nothing is shared with this drive, permissions default.

I installed DVRMSToolbox (DTB) - v1.2.2.5 (Unchecked download/Install Show Analyzer, left check for Run DTB File Watcher as Service).
Install completed, I confirmed DTB file Watcher in Services running & set to automatic.
Copied contents of Comskip81_050 donators version to C:\Program Files (x86)\DVRMSToolbox\Applications folder & overwrote the existing files.
In Comskip.ini changed to output_dvrmstb=1.
Installed DTBAddin - 1.0.0.7 (R3) x64 version since my OS is x64 & rebooted.
Confirmed DTBAddin in Media Center GUI.

Opened DVRMStoMPEGSettings, under DVRMSToolbox tab, changed Default Priority to Normal & Preferred Analyzer to Comskip.

Under File Watcher Tab, set Watched Directory to F:\ (the external Sata), set Wait Time Min. to 10.
Automatic Cleanup, Process Files Missing Artifacts, & Include Watched Folders checked.

Under MC Addin, Skip Commercials and Handle Keys checked.

Under Commercial skip tab, Scan choice set to auto.
Auto Skip, Reload Settings, Suppress Not Found, & Skip Back Disable checked.

Under Processing Tab, DelayProcessing Find Commercials, and Detection Profile Find Commercials in DVR-MS.
Clicked SAVE.

Opened Process Condition Editor, Processed files set to Do Nothing.
Every File set to Find Commercials in DVR-MS.
Clicked Save and then clicked Save.

In C:\Users\Public\DvrmsToolbox\CommercialsXml a .VIH file is created for each show on the eSata drive.
In C:\Users\Public\DvrmsToolbox\FWLogs a .log file is created for each show on the eSata drive.
In C:\Users\Public\DvrmsToolbox a DTBFWService_****.log file is created and shows as before:

Again, I can drop a TV show on the Comskip.exe and it will properly process the show.
In F:\ where the watched shows are, .edl, .log, .txt, .and .xml files are created.
Commercials skipping works properly on that show.

Any ideas?
I'm ready to arm the nukes!

May not be the way you want to go, but I use DirMon 2 to send wtv files to comskip. I think it can work on the files as they're being recorded, but I'm not certain.

Hmm, yeah bad luck so far, I'm out of ideas other then two thoughts:
Ask babgvant on the DTB forum for any help he can give and/or try a test install on another Win7 PC, exactly the same setup and throw a couple of wtvs into the folder and see what happens. If it works you know it's not a DTB misconfiguration, but rather some other app or config clashing on the HTPC.

Thanks for reply!

I had previously downloaded DirMon2Setup.0.6.4.exe.
Could you give me an idea as to how to configure it and Comskip to work together?
I plan to only run Comskip on files after they're recorded anyway.

I will post at the DTB forum.
Not a lot of activity there, though.

I have tested the same setup in a win 7 x86 virtual machine and the .wtv files were processed automatically.
I'm very picky and methodical with my pc's.
I have nothing additional installed in the htpc other than Shark007's codecs, TMT5, & My Channel Logos.
I run Ghost 15 from a boot disk.

I would suggest then that your DTB and CS setup methods are sound.
To me it sounds like a file permissions or structure problem.

Nope, just my Home network.
5 pc's plus the Media Center.

If it is file permissions, I'm not sure where to go from where I'm at.

What happens if you make a temp folder on your C: drive, change the recordedTV folder path to there, restart the file watcher service and plop in a recording?

Well, it was worth a try, but same error.

What context is the File Watcher service running under. Is it a user that has local admin privileges? Is your Comskip installed in the DVRMSTool box applications directory?

Only 1 account and it has admin privileges.
Yes, Comskip 81_050 donators version overwrote the default original files in C:\Program Files (x86)\DVRMSToolbox\Applications.

Thanks for your assistance!

^^Yeah I don't think the log would list the show filename if it couldn't see it. All it needs is read perms to 'play' the file(?)

Drastic step:
You say you restore from a ghost image (or images).
Try a fresh Win7 install, nothing else on it except DTB.

If no resolution today, I could try that tomorrow.

At least not for an extended period of time.

I tried the Comskip donator version and could never get it to start automatically. I configured it based on the recommended settings from a thread in the Comskip forums. I installed the latest versions of DVRMS Toolbox, plugin, and ShowAnalyzer which worked automatically without any hassle.

SA catches at least 90% or more of the commercials so I'd recommend it

output_dvrmstb=1 yes.
dvrmsstandby=12000 no.

I added dvrmsstandby=12000 to the ini, stopped and restarted FileWatcher service but same error message.
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere at the DVRMSToolbox forum that dvrmsstandby=12000 isn't needed in 1225 and up.

I've researched the issue I'm having for many hours over 2 weeks.
I saw posts with people with issues but never any resolution found.

Thanks for your assistance!
