I have tried both My Media Center and Remote Potato and have had the same issue with both. I have done clean installs in both instances. Every time I try to record something, after installing either piece of software, I get errors that popup saying there is no TV signal so the program could not record. In reality, sometimes the show will record and sometimes it won't. I have searched this web site as well as google and can't find a solution. Heck, I can't find anyone with the same issue!
Any ideas?
thanks,
Eric

A clean install of the apps or a clean install of Windows? If both applications return the same results, it sounds like something on your system is messed up. I use MMC and it works perfectly fine.boogmeister1 wrote:I have done clean installs in both instances.

I've done clean installs of both software and Windows 7. All I have loaded on the computer are the drivers for the system, HDHomerun software, TunerSalad, EPG123 and MyMovies. It doesn't seem like I have any crazy software installed.

Are you using the latest build of the Ceton Companion Services? Did you install all Windows updates? SP1?
