Ok, so since I have two primes I have no need for my HDHR Dual. So I decided to try and use it to view my security cameras in 7MC.
I have tried a channel modulator which outputs on the old channel 3, I have a digital tv which picks up this on a channel scan just fine. The dual won't see the it under any setting, Digital cable or Digital antenna. I am assuming that the Silicon Dust app needs to see the channel first corect?
Has anyone tried this? I am assuming so, probably old hat. So how are you guys doing this? Or how should I approach the modulator thing?
Thanks,
Skybolt

HDHR is a ASTC or QAM tuner (digital), channel 3 sounds like it is NTSC so you will need an old analog tuner.

It would be cheaper to get NTSC tuner. They are like $10.

Yeah, I just didn't want to put a tunner card in my HTPC and run a cable to it.blueiedgod wrote:... It would be cheaper to get NTSC tuner. They are like $10.
I am ultamately switching over to a VM and a tunner card won't work for me there, but for now I have no choice.
