That's cool. I watch some of my tv using remote potato on my iPad, but it cannot do DRM so this is indeed a nice step. However it would be beter if it supported playback from Media Center. This is an interesting development as it is the first i have seen of a cablecard solution that skips MC all together...so it can be done...

All it takes is for someone to come up with a CableLabs approved DRM scheme to link to the tuner....something this solution still doesn't have.

Being wireless with a 4:3 ratio, SD channels may be ideal for iPad use anyway. I just wish it worked on the first gen iPad.

I downloaded the app and can successfully view TV on my first generation iPad. I haven't tried recording though I have very little to no use for that.
