Looks like MCC is dead

I'm glad I didn't pay for this because it looks like it has been permanently abandoned. Too bad because it had potential if it was kept up to date and could leverage apps like Pandora.

Maybe there is another developer who wants to take it over and improve it. I paid for it so my son can watch you tube on the tv easily. I should have just spent $35 and got the real thing which I could have plugged into an hdmi input on my avr. Oh well.

FYI - Tab Casting stopped working with MCC. Getting a 404 error. A friend is seeing the same thing with his. Anyone else seeing this?

Is the SDK helping to get development on this app going again?

My money is waiting for you if you ever want to fix this to work with Pandora and Media Browser.

From what I read, I don't think mediabrowser client will act as a chromecast player, just the android versions of it will at least cast and potentially play with the latest release. If that is the case then it is far from a replacement.

Hi fredx21, Do you have a schedule for your next release? It would be great to hear what plans you have for MCC.
