ctn91xx_mpeg0_0 file busy | infinitv 6 PCIe

Edited: Included pastebucket Link

First install of the Infinitv6 PCIe.

My Setup:
- InfiniTV PCIe 6 (192.168.200.2), with Beta FW 15.1.13.152
- Ubuntu 14.x
- Comcast Provider

This is my first install of the PCIe6. I also have a ETH6 that I purchased and got
working under Windows 7.

If I go into Tuner Two -> Tuner, and select a Frequency I am able to select a program and set a channel (Status shows STOPPED however).
The information shows up in the Status page. If I try to cat the ctn91xx_mpeg0_x interface at this point I do not get any output.

When I go back into Tuner tab and start the Streaming RTP protocol STOPPED changes to PLAYING. At this point when
I try to cat the ctn91xx_mpeg0_x interface it says the file is busy (I assume it is the process on the card sending the stream).

I do not get anything when trying to view the stream after starting RTP. I've tried : ffprobe -i rtp://192.168.200.2:8000.
tcpdump -i ctn dst 192.168.200.2 also shows nothing.

Copy protection shows Copy Free (00).

1) In the instructions when it says to use mplayer .. for those people who have it working does it show Playback as STOPPED or PLAYING at that point?
2) Has anyone been able to get RTP streaming to work? I've read a thread and it seems others have had problems as well.

I am close but still not getting anything.. Help! Thanks.

I have only read one success story, and that was with the 4, not the 6. You likely have seen this one before, but here it is anyway.

The source of the link above, and a couple troubleshooting ideas for you.

You might want to contact the author of this post. Yippee38 has been working on the same project for 7-8 months. Not sure what the outcome was/is.

Followup.

After reading the thread about using mythubuntu as an OS I *was* able to read the output of /dev/ceton/ctn91xx_mpeg0_# just fine!

I was having a problem even after installing mythubuntu of getting the card to tune into a channel. But after unplugging the coax input
and plugging it back in It got a signal just fine. I have not tried RTP streaming yet. That will be next.

Hope this helps someone else.
