Vizio tv issue at 120hz / jitter at 60hz

I have a Vizio M series 65 in TV running an HTPC. I have had issues with jitter running it at 60hz, so I have switched to 120hz and it seems as thought the issues have gone away.

The problem is that when I restart the computer the TV picture settings appear to not load correctly (it is as if the color setting is maxed out). I have discovered the issue occurs when the TV switches from 60hz to 120hz while on. When the computer starts the BIOS screen runs at 60hz, then when windows loads it changes the freq to 120hz and the color is messed up. The weird thing is that when I go to the picture settings on the TV and recycle back to the setting that it is supposed to be it resets the screen and looks like its supposed to - also if windows is already running at 120hz and I turn the computer off then on, it looks fine. The issue is with the TV on and the frequency changes from 60 to 120hz.

Is there any way to fix this?! Thanks for the help and info.
