Can I use this high end 4K monitor to watch my Cox Cable TV service using Windows Media Center? I would want to run it at UHD 60hz using the DisplayPort 1.2 connection to my AMD R9 270x GPU. It only has HDMI 1.4, and I watch a lot of 720 60p content, so need to keep it 60p capable. Not sure how HDCP works these days, or with this monitor. It seems awful sweet as I need a 32 incher to replace my old 32 inch HDTV. Would I run into any issues with my Cox Cablecard and tuning adaptor in this configuration?

It is my understanding that....
"DRM Protected Content-Live or Recorded" Will not work through Display Port (DP) using WMC.
The DVI-I, DVI-D, and HDMI Video outputs on the R9-270 should work as normal with WMC.
Blue-Ray software such as Power DVD will work through DP.

No, Windows Media Center does NOT support DRM through Display port. This was an issue when it was out (WMC was active being deved), lots of discussion on this one.Paul Anderegg wrote:Can I use this high end 4K monitor to watch my Cox Cable TV service using Windows Media Center? For the record, My NVidia GTX750 card I have in my system, supports HDMI 1.4a, I run it at 4K @60hz with no problems.
