Echo will not stay paired to WMC
Simply put i have to pair the echo EVERY TIME i turn it on. It works just fine after i pair it. It simply will not keep itself paired.
Any thoughts?
Using Windows 7. Can watch TV just fine on my PC.
Thanks!

You could try recovering it http://www.thegreenbutton.tv/forums/vie ... =69&t=3689. If that does not fix it could be a firewall or av issue.

This happens to me quite often as well. The cure is, most of the time, to reboot the HTPC, then the Echo connects.

Definitely not normal. Both of you need to contact Ceton and do a recovery.

Maybe your IP on the HTPC is changing. Set the HTPC to static, then set the router to do a DHCP reservation for the Echo.

I had an issue similar to this. I had 2 of my echos plugged into my router, and 2 of them into a switch. once i connected all of the echos to the switch where the HTPC was, everything worked(yes the switch was connected to the router :/). Doesn't make sense, but that's what did it for me.
HTPCs, InfiniTVs, and Extenders OH MY!
