Echo in same cabinet as HTPC ~ Remote Control

#1

Post by Sammy2 » Thu May 04, 2017 9:45 pm

I am considering using one of my spare echos in for LiveTV and then Emby Theater on my HTPC for Blu-ray Rip Playback. I know it has been forever but wasn't there a discussion about being able to change the input setting for the echo so that the two don't get the same signals and then do the same thing? How to set this up in a Harmony 900 for two distinct activities?

TIA.

I think todd was asking about that, awhile back. Ill see what I can dig up. Todd installed a bunch of Echo's in a single box, and planted the box in the server rack. Dont remember how that turned out.

On mine, I covered the IR's with tinfoil, and use MMC.

Here is the other one I was thinking about. This thread mentions some other thread that programmed different codes for each echo. I dont remember reading that one.

I asked over on that thread, Maybe someone's still around that knows where this "other thread" is. I sure don't remember...

Again, thanks for digging up this old stuff. It has been so long I have forgotten more than I knew.
