Did not notice it before, but definitly with the recent firmware it seems that the channelmap page
http://[IP OF CETON CARD]/Services/ChannelMap.html has a way to determine that the channel is SDV. In my cable system, Charter in Glendale CA, all channels with a frequency of 999000 are SDV channels.

That is not a foolproof method. Many operators (like most, if not all, of TWC) do not put the channels in the map at all if they are SDV. Also, it's always possible a channel could actually be on 999MHz.

OK. Sorry for any misinofrmation.. I guess it was too good to be true. I had thought it was so since both in my area and at a co-workers place (different cablecos) had the same behavior.
