ATI DCT Unknown Device
I have two Ati DCT's (Internal). The first one was working for years with no problems. I just got a new one, and when trying to install it, the drivers did not sucessfully install. It shows up as unknown device in device manager. When I put the one that was working, back in, it does the same thing. I've tried multiple things, including uninstalling from device manager, but the drivers won't install properly. Also I have all windows updates. Does anyone know the solution?

You shouldn't need to install the same driver twice. There may now be a software conflict somewhere with part of the driver installed/uninstalled.
Can you recover Windows / go back in time to before you installed the driver?

So apparently there's an issue with my four pin usb header cable. Connected a regular usb cable to an external USB port and the card worked fine.

For future reference, all ATI DCTs install as individual devices, with unique identifiers, doing a driver install, which also checks and updates, if needed, the firmware.
