CBS Not showing in my lineup

#1

Post by Thebytedoc » Tue Sep 03, 2013 11:26 am

After Time warner dropped CBS and now restored it it still is not showing up in my CETON channels or Media Center guide. I'm using the pci Ceton tuner with media center. Any suggestions??

Same here with CBS and Showtime.
I have tried refreshing the lineup several times with no luck.
I did verify they show on the cable box.
Still troubleshooting. :wtf:

If its not in the guide check the zap2it website. If its not showing on the website then you can contact zap2it to have it added. If it is there its just a matter of waiting for wmc to sync with zap2it.

zap2it is showing both channels for my postal code.
I have updated the guide several times last night and this morning but they still do not show up.

Download GuideTool and check what it's listing.

You can also verify the channel isn't disabled by going into settings> TV> guide> edit channels. Otherwise you'll just have to be patient as it can take a few days before they sync.

I checked the both for tuning ability in the ceton diag. and they both work.
No hidden channels.
Still troubleshooting :?

This is a good point. It's possible MS hasn't got the up to date data yet.
If so you can add the channel manually and tune to it via the remote, but there will be no guide data.

I resolved this late yesterday by re-running TV setup.
CBS and Showtime are now showing in the guide and the scheduled recordings are back in the lineup.
