I have a usb vbox 3560 and a PCIE Avermedia m780.
Both tuners windows detects and they work fine.
I wanted to add a third tuner. So bought another Avermedia m780.
However only Avermedia tuner 2 is available, WMC says Avermedia tuner 1 has no signal?
Device manager only shows Avermedia with 3 parts, a (tuner, bridge, decoder, I think) and the Vbox tuner.
Should there be 2 sets of Avermedia tuners showing up in device manager???
I can boot windows with either card and they work, but two card together, only one will work.
How to fix this? I am running windows 7 64 bit.
Multiple ATSC tuner Avermedia m780, only one ever works

Windows and WMC can not handle multiple identical PCIE tuners is clear.
So I will have to buy another but different usb tuner.
I suppose the argument is the driver has issues too, so my attempt is a bust.
The m780 worked so well, I figured just get another one, I am not too surprised though that 2 identical tuners both do not work together, although If I was the programmer, you would think someone might want to run multiple identical tuners from your company in their PC, and I would make sure they worked together..
I wonder if Linux can distinguish them properly.
