Unwanted automatic music playlist

#1

Post by bguile » Tue Nov 15, 2011 9:11 pm

When I enter my music library and select Playlists in Windows Media Center for Windows 7 (32 bit), I see a number of playlists I didn't create. They consist of video (mp4) and audio files (mp3) that are in my media library. I would prefer to have only playlists I create there. I have installed Shark 007 codec pack, and all the files reside on a 2tb sata drive installed in the media center computer. Is there any way to get rid of them permanently? TIA! :D

Try doing a search on your system drive for .wpl and see what turns up.
I don't know if you can turn off the automatic playlist feature, I've never tried to be honest.

Looks like they'll be in the hidden appdata area on your system drive so make sure that hidden / protected folders are visible when you do the search.......
