Mouse cursor shows up on screen

#1

Post by watts3000 » Sun Apr 14, 2013 3:03 pm

Guys I have a mouse pointer problem. I've noticed when watch movies on media center that sometimes a mouse cursor shows up in the middle of the screen. The funny thing is, I have not had a keyboard or mouse connected to the computer; nothing but an IR remote I've pasted the link below to my remote. So I must ask, has anyone here seen this before?

Does the remote have a mouse function?

I can't help answer "why", but I have a solution you may like...set your cursors to transparent.

@watts3000: Do you use Total Media Theatre to watch your movies? I think there's a setting relating to the mouse in TMT5.

Excellent, thanks for the tip. I'm using Mouse Without Boarders and was getting annoyed with the mouse cursor not disappearing on my media center. AutoHideMouseCursor did the trick! Thanks again.

For me the mouse cursor shows up every time I start a movie in netflix in WMC. It is very annoying as it also brings up the green button/back button in the top left corner with the black squares around it. I will try this tool, hopefully it works.
