Does anyone have picture breakup/poor reception on satellite channels for Horror + 1 and CBS Action (11222 H 27500)
Seem to be the only frequency i have issues with playback, if dish was a bit out of line surely i get problems with most channels and not just this one set

nope, my issues are with scuzz and the kids channels in that range. re-cavbled it all, bought new lnb, no improvement. was also like that on the sky box when i used that. thinking it may be dect phone interference now..

Interesting, i have checked CBS Action on media center, Sky Box and Humax HDR all show poor signal, i had this issue with these channels other week and thought it was to do with new dvb-s2 card but its obviously not just my setup, i think milli suggested a line amp which i haven't got round to trying yet. Whether that'll make any difference i don't know

you might find that that transponder is transmitting slightly weaker than others and if your dish is slightly out it will only accentuate it... btw on a lot of the better satellite receivers you have power AND quality bars which gives you a better indication of what's going on.
