Is there Channel 4 + 1 available on dvb-s? I did complete rescan of transponder and using guidetool only 1 channel named 'Channel 4 + 1' showed up and says its encrypted

I find that Channel 4+1 often shows up as "Channel 4" in the channel list.

The best bet is to check the frequency for each instance of Channel 4 and then rename one of the +1 channels.

Look for channels with 10729 as the frequency (click on a c4 in the tasks>settings>tv>guide>edit channels menu, then click edit sources).

According to http://www.freesat.co.uk/what-you-get/our-channels, ch 4+1 should be available as fta, the encrypted version maybe the BSkyB version

Regional variations are all FTA on 10729 V:

The issue is just that MC names the channels as "Channel 4" and not "Channel 4 +1" when the transponder is scanned.

Maybe it's an issue with the data being received from the TP during the scan? DVBLink seems to read them as +1 OK though........
