Remote Desktop hack for SP1

#1

Post by Travelcard » Tue Jul 19, 2011 10:04 pm

Hi guys,
On the old forum someone posted a way to allow two logons - so you could fiddle with the operating system in the background using remote desktop while the rest of the family were watching TV. The hack only worked with exact version numbers of Windows though and I've not been able to find a SP1 version.

Anyone got a link?

Thanks.

Basically so you can remote into the HTPC (for instance) without it locking the local profile screen. Handy for HTPCs.

[edited because I talked crap basically, sorry I was mixing things up with a VNC session. My mind has been mud of late]

Yes you can login with another session whilst leaving the primary login running.

You cannot stream video through it though.
