Peculiar new error message

I woke up today and tried to use Windows Media Center (Win7) to watch on my TV. It failed to connect to my WMC computer. So I rebooted my router, then did a shutdown on computer before rebooting that.

When I went to open WMC on my computer it said something to the effect that my scheduled recordings might be gone and to download new guide data. Sure enough, the list of scheduled programs was empty. Everything else looked normal. I'm in the process of downloading new guide data now.

Anyone else get this or was it just a glitch with my computer?

Might be time to install BlueScreenView. Sounds like you had a crash and there was some data loss. BlueScreenView will record the crashes, and give you a starting point to find the problem.

Might be a hard drive going bad.

After you find the problem and correct it, use Sean's WMC Backup to save a backup of your Scheduled Series Recordings.
