No metadata in movies strip on one machine

I'm running a client server setup where I have all of my movies stored on a win 7 server machine, and I typically try to play them on another win 7 client machine. I use EPG123 for guide data and recordings, and I have ceton MMC installed, along with YAMM service on each machine. The movies are stored on a dedicated drive on my server, and my metadata for those movies is setup correctly. As soon as I get a new recording or file on the server, some software somewhere on that machine IDs the file, and writes a dvdid.xml file. I Get really good metadata when I'm viewing my movies on the server but when I view my movies on my client machine, I only get cover art. There is no description, rating, actors or anything. One other problem I have is that when i go into the native WMC movies interface, it is slow to load. How would I go about fixing these problems? thanks

I think I would reconfigure the library section on the affected machine
