OTA Signal Strength %
I may be late to the game with this, but I just found out that if you right click an OTA channel, select "Edit Channel" the select "Edit Sources", at the bottom of the screen Media Center will report the quality in percentage! I've just been using the "Digital TV Antenna Signal Strength" and the bars don't mean much.
You can also get to the quality through Settings>>TV>>Guide>>Edit Channels, then click the channel and select "Edit Sources"

Thanks for that. Good to know.
What is the best approach for EPG on MCE 2005 ?
Found a http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00503720 , was thinking about getting it going.

I tried getting the guide on XP back for quite a while, but it was a fruitless effort. I was able to prolong getting guide data from MS, but the ROVI switchover was the final nail in the coffin for me. I heard there was a program called Bladerunner Pro that imported data, but I couldn't find it anywhere (and by that time I had to switch since the WAF had gone to zero).
I do wish you luck and please keep us updated on your progress. I actually perfer the XP interface over the 7 interface.

Thanks for the advice, I think I will throw in the towel before I waste 5 minutes.

Tried it on my system but every channel says 100% even a channel I can"t even get. Not sure what this is supposed to do.

For me it shows 83% for The CW, 100% for Fox, 90% for channel 20.1, just to give a few examples.

I have 20+tuners and tried to check this "%" feature on a few and found it was only on windows 7 systems' MC menu (not VISTA MC) plus my Win7 MC listed 100% for all channels regardless if they were received or not (and even after disconnecting antenna). I am suspecting that this '100%' is possibly based on the last best signal received for the channel or the last best signal for any channel? In any case, I was not able to see a way (with certainty) to refresh/update this '%'. any ideas?
I would love it if there were a Media Center plug in for quick signal strength testing.
