Sounds to me like one of the symptoms MPEG4/H.264 issue Comcast subscribers are having.

Wonder if any new information about this problem has turned up. I put up a new WMC system using the onboard Intel GPU and didn't have the pixelation on channel 710 comcast out of Boston.. Then upgraded to a Nvidia GTX 1050 and now have the pixelation problem on 710. So it might have something to do with Nvidia driver?

Like others have mentioned only the NBC affiliate, channel 710 for Comcast Boston shows the problem on live and recorded content.

Thanks

Thought I'd circle back on this. My conclusion is it's an Nvidia issue. I switched to a Radeon card and didn't have the pixelation problem, but unfortunately had another problem (freezing after multiple program skip-aheads).

Went with Intel integrated graphics and all is well.
