I am thinking about a miniDSP NanoAVR HD but it must use Linear PCM via HDMI. This WMC computer uses Intel HD Graphics 530 i7-6700/Z170 chipset, Intel HDMI Display Audio with Denon AVR X4100W receiver.
In the Win8 Sound I uncheck Exclusive Mode and run Configure > Test and I get 7 channel LPCM audio out via HDMI, the receiver detects it as "Multichannel" so all is good so far. Open WMC run Set Up Your Speakers but get no audio.
Can WMC even use LPCM or am I missing something?
