Audio dropouts during live and recorded TV

#1

I am having an audio dropout issue. Dropouts occur during both live TV and recorded TV. Video is not affected. I get my signal from a HD Homerun Prime(cablecard). I have played with the audio settings on Windows to no avail. If a dropout occurs, I can sometimes rewind the video and the audio is then fine in that same spot. If I stream a video I do not have this problem, only TV. Not sure if it could possiblly be that the cable card has gone bad, the HD Homerun has gone bad, or some setting in Windows is not correct. Has anybody had anything like this happen?

Sounds like a problem with the HDMI/HDCP connection. How are you connected from your PC to the TV? If it is just an HDMI cable (with no other equipment), try replacing the cable. You can also try using another HDMI port on the TV.

sounds good. I do have it hooked up just with an HDMI cable. I will try changing it out and if that doesn't work, a different HDMI port. Thanks for the suggestions.
