Remote potato vs WMC Client

Hi All,

I have a live tv edition of Remote Potato as well as WMC client to allow plex or kodi to use live tv. Which is better? Can any fix the 2959 framerate issue with 1080i 60fps content (i.e. CNN)? Thanks!

Edit: to explain, whenever viewing 60fps content on these backends, it is downsampled to 30fps. 720p60 plays fine (stays native 60fps)

I'm pretty sure (I haven't looked at the available code of the "original" version, and the "newer" version hasn't released code like he should on a regular basis) that this is more about bandwidth decisions as opposed to any other thing, and it just isn't built into the code. See if you can get him to add that as a setting (i.e. to not transcode it)...

As for the 29/59 that is an issue in the original source, and unless you ARE going to transcode it, it won't get "fixed"... (and even then who knows what all the right tweaks, etc. are inside RP to make it work)...
