It looks like Apple is planning to end support for 32-bit apps in a future release or iOS - most probably in iOS 11 this Autumn.

This will mean old apps like Remote Potato won't work unless they get recompiled for 64-bit (unlikely).

iOS 10 is now listing any legacy 32-bit apps and warning that they will not work in future releases.

It is rather sketchy that this app is still being sold in the App Store at full price by the developer.

It has now been confirmed that 32-bit apps will not run in iOS 11. This is available in beta form now, with the final public release available in September. Remote Potato is still being offered for sale with no warning.
