Hey gang-- anyone know the current state of re-encoded files to WTV (using ffmpeg or MCEBuddy or something along those lines) in relation to the resulting file not have a valid video length or able to "resume" files later?
Looking for alternatives to my bluray ripping process that go faster. But being that I'm 100% xbox360 extenders, it's only ever been wtv, dvr-ms, or wmv. wmv9/wmapro 5.1 has been my approach to-date as it gets me 5.1 audio at the highest possible rate (15MB) at 1080p with perfect playback on extenders... but dang, it takes forever to recode that.
I'm thinking of doing it to 15mb mpeg2 w/ac3 5.1 and have it go inside a wtv-- seems I can get it done in a fraction of the time but last time I checked, the file length issue was a problem still.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
