Something Happened to DTS Sound

#1

Post by jagrime2 » Wed Jul 06, 2011 3:24 am

As of last week I have been unable to get audio when watching files with DTS sound. I assume that something happened when I recently installed the Win 7 SP1 service pack. I use Shark007 and have never had any problems. I assume this is a codec issues as the files still play fine in VLC player. I haven't seen any other posts complaining about this so I may be alone. Any thoughts on what may have happened or more importantly a possible fix?

Possibly a setting in the codec pack. I would go to Shark007's forums page and try to contact him about it.

I agree. Try uninstalling and reinstalling your Shark codecs, or consider upgrading to the latest release.

Uninstalled and reinstalled Shark007 codec pack and everything is back to normal on the DTS sound.
