It looks like the filter is currently looking for the word with an unknown number of characters in between. I'm interested in knowing what profane words match this pattern other than the most obvious one.

The filter should actually filter any word that contains the four letters.

Thank you for the information and for your explanation richard for which I have removed your graphic examples. They really are not required.

The filter is a module that comes with phpBB and has a basic feature set at most.
We do encourage the younger audience here on TGB, so the module has been implemented and does prevent the majority of generic foul language being displayed.

Crash, I added spaces to your word to get past the filter and fixed your link, I trust that is acceptable.

I may need to take full advantage of that filter if Microsoft does not talk about Media Center in this latest version.
