BBC kill .wma feeds

As of last wednesday the BBC no longer provide internet radio feeds in .wma format. For me this resulted in being unable to receive any BBC radio stations via the MCE Shoutcast app. Tunerfree MCE or indeed a deskto radio gadget. There is just an anouncement saying the service is no longer available, for more information see here http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/internet/ent ... 680c49882f.
I reported the problem to the TunerfreeMCE developer who has switched to an alternative feed so that is working again  , but so far it is still no go for the Shoutcast app. and the desktop gadget. :(
