Heavens no. Current model new Roamio OTA, 1GB, upgraded to 3GB.

If you overflow a 3GB drive with OTA shows, you watch and retain A LOT of TV.

3GB would hold about 1/2 hour of HD video. ;-)

I have about 17 TB of recorded shows and I am always in danger of running out of space. Most of it is movies that I recorded from premium cable that I haven't had the time to watch. I will probably never watch most of them... I never retain movies/shows that I have already watched, so you know that I record way too much stuff...

I hope their projected 'pro' unit will be released this year.
Hopefully it wasn't shelved.

Just need Rovi to pull their finger out.....

It appears from looking at the TiVo message boards that the Rovi data rollout has started on the TiVo boxes. Apparently they are having about as much fun with it as we did...

You know that Rovi had to know how bad/outdated their data was, but they went through with the migration anyway. This company obviously has priorities other than keeping their guide data customers happy, or maybe they really are just clueless which may be even worse.

Hopefully the larger numbers of TiVo users will force Rovi to do a better job with their guide data...
