Really liking the looks of the upcoming Classic NES, but the non-expandability offends my sensibility.

Anyone have any experiences with using a Raspberry Pi and Emulation Station? It looks pretty straightforward, and I'd love to be able to introduce my kids to the classics I played when I was their age.
