WTB: Windows 8.1 Pro Media Center pack key
PM me for details windows 7 media center too buggy upgraded to Windows 8.1 but can't get the MC key anymore

LOL. 8.1 WMC has exactly the same bugs as 7. What have you accomplished by "upgrading"?

Plus, a couple features were removed in the Win8.1 version of WMC.

FInd a Windws 7 sp1 ISO, install that, disable updates (unless you need something like .net and ONLY do updates for the .net).... Then setup WMC, done. The most stable WMC machine you can own. I gave up doing updates as every few months a update would come down that would cause some issue or another.
Microsoft killed of WMC, so they do very limited testing on WMC for new updates, and this is why it comes unstable.
