It looks like the issue might be related to virtual channel numbering.

Still no luck. I'm wondering, does that mean a tivo should work too? I really should just call TWC but I have a feeling they won't be very helpful...

Figured out my problem for the curious... the channels for my area on the silicondust website were outdated, so I was on a mission to find out how else to get them. I used the WinTV program after scanning my channels. The details page shows the physical number and service ID. On the SD site it shows me 67-541, but I get a scrambled signal. Using WinTV I get 87-303 and my channels are back! WOOO!!!! Thanks all

A few months ago, I was running a Ceton without a CableCard inserted. The instructions on this page appear strangely familiar to the process I went through to make the Ceton work. http://www.hdtvtunerinfo.com/win7mcqamsetup.html
Has the cable company changed things around recently, so that the above instructions will not work anymore?

In my experience, that scan no longer comes up with usable channels. I can "check" them but I don't get a signal. The channels seem to move around without notice, so you may have to go and configure it every once in awhile. For me, that included looking up the channel on the silicon dust page, which unfortunately has the possibility to be outdated (I guess it gathers info per zip by users) so the scan method from WinTV worked for me in this case.
