I can watch live TV, recorded shows, videos from any device (TV, phones, tablets) in my house.
My setup:
1. OTA rabbit antenna
2. HDTV tuner: HDHomerun dual
3. HTPC: Windows Media Center (win7) + XBMC/ServerWMC
4. HDTV in bedroom + DMA2200
5. HDTV in family room + DMA2100
6. Nexus7 + XBMC/PVR
7. Oneplus One + XBMC/PVR
(I also have slingbox, if I need to watch from outside of home network)

Nice. I have a fairly similar setup with ServerWMC, although I don't use XBMC and use Mediabrowser instead on my Nexus7 and phones (and my tuner is a Prime with cablecard).

AFAIK, mediabrowser is not free but I'm curious about the app.LuckyDay wrote:Nice. I have a fairly similar setup with ServerWMC, although I don't use XBMC and use Mediabrowser instead on my Nexus7 and phones (and my tuner is a Prime with cablecard).
What's the advantage of MB to warrant premium?

You know I don't remember paying for it, I just use it because I was familiar with MediaBrowser before I set this all up. It seems to work well and it's updated frequently with a good community.
I don't know enough about the XBMC app to know what the main differences are, but I know I didn't care for the PVR integration with XBMC when I tried it on PC. ServerWMC is much smoother to set up.

Oh one feature I like about MB (not sure how XBMC implements anything like this) is their "Connect" feature that is fairly new.
You create a login on the MediaBrowser site, and link it with your server. Then you just use that login for every device, so you don't have to remember any IP addresses or worry about those changing on you. Before, the apps connected through IP, which can change and require you to reauthorize the apps.
