First post
Hi all,
Just a quick post to see if any of our members are willing / able to make a small donation to help cover our running costs?
I completely understand that times are hard for a lot of folks and many people are unable to offer any financial support.
Please don't feel pressured into donating...

Hi, there is no suggested donation amount - any amount is much appreciated
Thank you to everybody that has donated

Is there any plans to add support for mobile forum apps like forumrunner?
I can get this forum to work on forum touch(it's actually the only forum that didn't already support a mobile app that I've got to work on it even though it doesn't require anything to be installed on the forum server) but...

I just found this new edition of TGB and am so happy!
Just to state my preference: ForumRunner is my prefered Android interface... I also have Tapatalk but it annoys me with lots of bugs and general quirkyness. So, if you ever decide to enable ForumRunner, I would be OH SO GRATEFUL!
In the...

It works! You're a genius thanks, over all commands are more response and zippy too excellent.
I had to program things via a bit of a work around.
1) use your harmony remote to learn the skip fwd button the beacon puts out. (the one nested on the second level of the Playback Pad multi funtion...

Not MC related, but interesting (if you like this sort of thing!).
My HD7 has just informed me that an update is available - maybe I've had my head in the sand but I didn't even know that one was soon to be released.
I did a quick google and it looks like 7740 is getting rolled out today.
Has MS...

It's not listed as a fix, though it's been a while since I've seen it. In fact I don't think I've seen it since I flashed my phone back to a T-Mobile ROM, and I've pretty much had 7740 ever since I did that. I do get the no-capitalisation-of-the-first-word bug a lot though.

IP addresses for T-Mobile UK

mark1234 » Sat Dec 03, 2011 5:43 pm
I run Remote Potato for remote access to my guide, recording schedule and music. I don't wish to allow access to the whole world though, so I use the Windows firewall to restrict inbound access. If it's any use to anyone, these are the IP ranges I've found are used by T-Mobile UK:...

I copied gif and png images to my phone and those image files types also give the same error. It's not a resolution issue either b/c the images vary from low res (2MP) to high res (8MP).

From all the signs over at The Windows Phone site and .. More info here:

Two days after receiving Mango on my HD7, HTC phoned to tell me they're sending the new Titan my way.
I'm hoping that teathering and video calling won't be disabled on the 'built-for-mango' device as it currently is on the HD7. That aside, it's a great update. I just hope MS stick with Windows...

Does anyone know if the Remote Potato iPhone app will every become a universal app and include an iPad interface? I went ahead and bought the iPhone app that is in the app store now and it works great. It just looks bad and feels cramped when it could be using so much more real estate.

Just tried it and it works really nicely - bit of a delay on mine, probably my media enter, but the iPad app is really great

Kinect control on Media Center

Although this is a story about WP7 Mango, there is also mention that if watching Live TV on the Xbox 360 Extender it will give you voice control to set new recordings:
Presumably if Microsoft were planning to kill off Media Center then they wouldn't bother with this level of integration. Maybe...

Tx. Yeah, I'm convinced it's not a MB or SP thing but an RP thing.
Just trying playback via local PC IE browser also fails on all the same things. I think it's the videos I'm trying to playback & how I transcoded them originally (into AVIs with x264 video and AC3 audio -- not a common format for...
